Geometry & Mandalas

While watching a documentary about history, I came across a quote from Plato: “Geometry is knowledge of the eternally existent.” This idea suggests that the answers to the universe can be discovered through geometry. Inspired by this, I began sketching something in Shapr3D and made a sketch that was a bit of a everything, combining multiple geometries. Then I had the idea to rotate it around an axis. The result was wild!

As I continued to rotate the sketch around the other two axes, I noticed something interesing: each different view produced a unique mandala. The more complex my original sketch was, the greater the depth and intricacy of the resulting images. It’s fascinating how staring at various parts of these intricate mandalas reveals depths and curvatures.

What does it all mean? Honestly, I’m not sure, and it doesn’t have to mean anything at all. It simply looks cool and serves to expand the mind a bit.
